Moments of glee & gratitude, human struggles & strengths are captured permanently in their truest form within a photograph. For all of history, humans have found meaning in recording their lives, unsure if anyone would ever bear witness. Their paintings, writings and photos becoming an unassuming time capsule for future generations after they are gone.

And humans? We love to record everything.... every occasion from war to birthdays.

I also share a fascination with documenting my life and the lives of those around me. Like much of humanity, I find value in photographing the weird, wonderful and mundane. But most often...

my son aging before my eyes.. that rare bird we spotted.. the moments I want to hold onto.
